Yes. I think that condemning the people outside the relationship negates the whole purpose and meaning of the relationship. The only person who owes you anything is your partner.
I wouldn't have a one night stand with a girl I knew was involved. Now if I really developed some true feeling for her, I'd respectfully let her know and live with the consequences. Married is totally off limits. Wouldn't confess my feelings, wouldn't have them to begin with (at least not that I've experienced yet in this short life). I hope I'm never in that situation.
I think it's definitely a crappy thing to do...but the ultimate blame lies with the guy who made a promise to be honest to his girlfriend, and broke it. If you're not married then it's really easy - just break up with the person then you can do whatever you want. But to promise fidelity and then cheat is just wrong.
+1
It's always the SO's fault for going outside the relationship.
A piece of paper is irrelevant. If you sleep with someone in a relationship married or not then you're just as a moral as the person doing the cheating.
I'm sorry, but if someone is in a relationship they are not available. You don't mess with someone else's spouse or significant other because it's wrong and sleazy. We used to call this the girl code, but apparently it's not being taught any longer.
