I think people, both men and women, should be open to giving acts of gratification to a loyal but unattractive friend of the opposite sex going through a prolonged dry spell. I would do it and have done it for several female friends i was not attracted to. I think it would be a nice thing for people to do on occasion. Either that or spot them a few bucks to pay for it. Either way.

Why not just extend your line of thinking to your unactractive dude friends as well?

I listen to people's problems, try and cheer them up, do a lot of charity work, care about poor people, give money to help people, etc... and i also occasionally give sympathy gratification to unattractive women. So all around, i'm a relatively compassionate guy

No, you live in this warped strange world where a nice gesture to a woman automatically means she should sleep with you as a gesture of "compassion". Few men live in that bizarre state of mind. Psychopaths, sociopaths, rapists, murderers. These are the type of men who have your way of thinking. You have a sick and twisted mind that normal people are unable to comprehend.
I think you should print this on the back of your business card, and hand it out to your female friends so they know what your expectations are.
Maybe i'll put it on my resume... willing to help a friend in need
