Asking out coworkers? (young, relations, break up, like)

Is this a bad idea? I don't recall anything against it in corporate policy, and while I suppose it is possible I could oversee work she does in the future right now I don't. We don't even work at the same site.

In what way do you mean "asking out co-workers"?
Are you saying relationship? If so, I'd pass. Nothing good can come from it. If you mean asking them to lunch but not going further then co-workers at lunch, then shoot for the moon.

Nothing good comes from any relationship, but that doesn't stop anyone.
I did get involved with a coworker once, I was so young and dumb. It did not work. I was very relieved when I was laid off a month later - the tension at work SUCKED.
I see nothing wrong with it, as long as you all are not working side by side.
Like most relationships be prepared that it won't last. Think if/when that happens if that will be a problem. Trust your own judgement.
