28. Generated a few dates out of the experience. But never anyone I would say was a keeper. The better looking the man the easier it is to get more opportunities. Just the way it is.
When I was 20 when yahoo still had a dating website and I actually found good guys. These days though online dating isnt what it used to be. I havent found any decent guys at all.
I was 42 and overall, have had good experiences. I didn't meet anyone who was far off their pic or any weirdos. It just took a little weeding out and a couple of phone conversations before meeting up with anyone.
This year, 28... I had a profile for about 6 weeks and went on about 4 dates from it. And now I'm seeing someone I didn't meet online so profile deleted.
Legitimate online dating sites like.pof, i was 38. Really regret not trying sooner coz i thought all guys there are just creepy predators, serial killers, rapists. LOL.
I was wrong though.
indirectly and i didnt plan to meet anyone in.myspace at all but i got a date from that. the guy just commented on my blog i think. we went out 2-3 times. and the weird thing is that same guy found me 5 yrs.later on pof.
Before that, the craze in my country in the 90s coz that was also the peak of texting trend in my country. i got several meets from what we call text mates. its just basically texting a random a #. and hope that # is owned by a guy single and looking.
Theres also a.lot of.sex mates that stem from that. its basically cyber sex just using texting from phone. oh ya its called sexting here.

I started using a dating site when I was 24. I love hitting on good looking women and getting phone numbers though, whether it be online or in person. I almost like it more than actually going out on dates. I use online so I can talk to as many as possible.
34, about 8 months after my husband died in 2008, which was WAY too soon and only lasted a couple of weeks before I realized I was so not ready. I mostly just wanted to see what was out there.
Tried again at 35 (eHarmony and then OKC, separately)-still wasn't ready but lasted a month each this time, and again 37 which resulted in making me feel like I must be the most unattractive woman in an metro area of over 2.5 million after only 3 months.
Trying Match again now (38-will be 39 in a couple of weeks), again with a lot of profile views (over 600 from about 380 men) with only 5 winks and no messages after about 2 weeks. Four of the winks are questionable as to whether or not they are from real users or are fake profiles. The 5th I know is real because I recognize him from Meetup.
