I own several firearms and a bow. They are all properly stored (one shotgun does ride under the backseat of my pick-up). Would this be cause for concern? The layperson wouldn't even know I owned them unless I told them or they know me well enough. Thoughts?

Not in the least, unless it's a Hi-Point or something.

Any gal who is anti-gun is a dealbreaker for me. Gal who owns guns and can shoot is a plus.

I would imagine some gals won't date a guy who owns guns or hunts. I wouldn't have the time of day for them.

I'm a lady, and nope, not a deal breaker.

As long as he's responsible with them.

A man who owns a gun and shoots/hunts recreationally? Fantastic?

A man who obsesses over guns? Not fantastic.

Our Govt is trying to equate gun ownership on the same level as a sex offender.

If you own a gun you must be evil.

Gun owners don't flash their guns to impress.

I think it would be ok, but there are many people who place a stigma on gun ownership.

I have begun shooting and enjoy it, so it would not bother me.

Total dealbreaker for me. I went on a date with a man who litterally brought his handgun into the restaurant for gods sake.

Total deal breaker. I find guns to be ghetto. No one I would be interested in would even want to own one.

It wouldn't be here in Vermont where lots of men and women and kids for that matter own firearms for hunting and other sports. It could be an issue in a more urban location where people aren't used to them.
