I'm a guy and usually do not leave dirty clothes laying around. And I make the bed every morning. It's not hard. Takes like 3 seconds. I don't think I'd mind waking up and finding both our clothes on the bedroom floor. Or the living room. Heck even the kitchen.
My husband leaves his clothes on the floor next to the hamper. I cannot fathom that.
I leave mine on chairs, the bed, the dresser...but it always gets picked up at the end of the day or the week (depending on my energy level). Most of the time when I get home from work, you can tell every part of the house I've been in for the first hour or so I'm there....a purse here, some keys there, a jacket over here, some shoes over there....
I'm going to be honest. I leave clothes on the bathroom/bedroom floor. But, I do get them up, when I get ready (most likely when I'm doing laundry or Saturday clean up). Why does my husband feel he can leave his on the floor, if he's not the one that's going to pick them up?
I put my clothes back on their hangers or in the dirty clothes hamper. Never, ever thrown in the floor! Clothes are expensive and I work hard for the money :-) And I make the bed every day.
