Take what we say with a grain of salt. We don't know him or you. We don't know what your relationship is like. But talk to him. And dig deep and figure out if you are truly happy with him. If not - tell him what you are feeling and see if you can come to some sort of understanding. But, from my own personal experiences of hanging onto relationships until past their expiration date, sometimes you just aren't meant to be together.

If you stay together/marry him, you're facing not being integrated into his family and him siding with his family in any disagreements. I think you'd be seeing objections made for any plans to be with your family for the holidays. At this point nothing indicates the situation will change.
