Two people are in a relationship and break up while the woman is pregnant. What do you think about them?
As a couple?
The man?
The woman?

Is their any difference in how you see the individuals based upon their gender?

I can't really develop an opinion of the individual units but I think as a couple they should've done a bit more relationship/compatibility analysis before they decided to sleep together or used more adequate protection before the pregnancy happened and that they needed to think things through a bit more before fully deciding to break up for good.

I think the real problem is the person judging another person's situation.

People sit on their high horse all day when they're not in the other person's shoes.

My mother left my father before I was born.

From what I know about my father this was a wise decision.

I'm doing fine.

Why do you think as you do?

I'd feel worse for a baby dealing with two parents who don't get along.

Sometimes it's better. No confusion of the back and forth between parents. Or the father showing up whenever. Or a mother teaching the child one way of right from wrong then the dad allows the kid to do whatever.

Because I believe babies are better off with two mature emotionally healthy parents who love and adore one another and excitedly plan for the birth of their child.

When a breakup occurs during a pregnancy that creates a lot of stress.

Stress is very unhealthy and even dangerous to a fetus - it can have lifelong ramifications for the person that baby becomes.

Ok
What does that have to do with two people breaking up?
They may not be mature emotionally healthy people who love and adore one another and excitedly plan for the birth of their child, correct?

A relationship can also cause a lot of stress, correct?
