I find my BS meter going off often. Regardless it makes for interesting debates.
For threads where it is personally about the OP. My numbers have it at 47%. What about you?

When they are a new poster and asking ridiculous questions or they write a book, like a page and a half and it's like... word salad...no spaces... just a solid brick of "Woe is me." Or when they start Capitalizing Words That Don't need Capitalization. Or they are telling random strangers incredibly intimate things or when they aren't consistent in the same hour. OR they ask something ridiculous like, "Should I dress up on our first date, Or should I just dress up like the total slob that I am and also, I am secretly homosexual for Only White Men because they have the Power in any Relationship because WHITE MAN.. WHITE MAN.. WHITE MAN!!11!!!1
Those have a 51 percent chance or more to be pure troll.
And if people who are supposedly so bothered by such threads would just click the 'back' button as soon as they read the OP, said threads probably wouldn't be as frequent or long. They're just enablers by posting their .02. I guess they just can't help it. Seems to be particularly true when the OP is a guy complaining about something related to women or dating.
I feel like that's a bit of common sense, but apparently not.
I have known it to work in one forum, where the regulars all agreed amongst ourselves to do it, and reminded each other, and were already very committed to the forum and keeping it a fun place. But it was hard work.
Do PUAs count as trolls, here? I almost left, a few days ago, because I was so sick of the PUA bullsh*t. The problem is, are we a forum of regular people with some trollish PUAs, or are we a forum where half the regulars are PUAs, and we need to all get along?
Probably 40% of OP-oriented threads include lies/exaggerations. I've been using forums and chat for about 15 years, and I've seen it all... it is so easy to create your own bizarre alternate universe on the internet. If someone on here starts a thread about their standards, and claims to be successful and attractive, I'm going to think he/she isn't as hot as he/she claims.
