Your man has a hot rod. Tun off, turn on? Or I don't care/doesn't matter to me.. (dating, men)

For dating, I don't care. I'm sure I would become more interested in cars if I were dating someone into them, but I don't look at some guy driving down the street and think he is hot bec of his car.
I did date a guy for few months who was rebuilding a mustang and then an old 30s pickup. I did squee over the cuteness of the truck, and it was interesting to learn about all the people selling parts online and stuff. But mostly I just liked that, like me, he is into doing stuff with his hands and how things work and all. We both work on houses, too.
I'm all about 1970s Novas, myself. I date a lot of motorheads. I like things that go VROOM. Which is funny because driving stick shift scares the bejesus out of me (dad's fault - he tried to teach me in a large pickup truck in the middle of rush hour on an unfamiliar multi-lane highway. Then, when I was just getting comfortable, he took a nap.)
Um, I think YOU are kind of hot, 70Ford. Brains and goofiness are sexy to me .
But that car... I am afraid it is the sort that, when we see a guy in one, me and my lady friends figure it means he has a small p*nis. Sorry . At least it's not a fullsize pickup with chrome roll bar?
It's boring sitting around watching a guy work on his car. It's boring sitting around for hours waiting for him to race his car. It's boring when he can't talk about anything but car engines. It's boring hanging out with his friends who can't talk about anything but car engines.
It's also unattractive when men have grubby hands and smell like burnt motor oil.
It's also not fun knowing that the noises from the race cars is damaging your hearing while you are sitting there being bored.
But race car drivers have groupies, so someone likes them.
well, when you said "hot rod" I seriously thought you were referring to the male anatomy
But as long as he's not obsessed with his car, it shouldn't be a problem. Hobbies are fine, and it's good for each person to have some time away from their SO
