First off, I know people are going to be very enraged about me even asking this question. But the truth is, I am most attracted to men who share my European looks and cultural roots. I can't help myself. (On a side note, if I was saying I was an Asian guy looking for an Asian girl, I'm certain far less people would find that offensive or bothersome!)
But I live in Vancouver, and literally every white guy, well maybe 90% of them, have or are seeking an Asian girlfriend. Just today, driving downtown I was astounded at just how apparent this sociological phenomenon has become.
I'm from Los Angeles, and before moving here last year I was asked out by fairly attractive men left and right. Since moving here, I've only been asked out a few times--by drunk men at a casino. Once I even joined up a dating site, and as a fit 21 year old in university, I was astounded at how few messages I received to the ratio of those who viewed my profile. The ones who did make contact were mostly unattractive or loser-ish.
I don't hate Asians, but it is no doubt bothersome to have a thing for white guys in a city where the vast majority of them are only interested in them.
Even if I am a university graduate, even if I do take excellent care of my health and skin, even if I am graceful & ladylike, they'll still prefer an Asian woman.
I am thinking of moving to Seattle (not for this reason)--I heard this phenomenon is primarily a west coast thing, which makes sense because that's where most of the Asians in North America are. I imagine dating will be a drag there too for this reason, and with my preference for white guys.
So, if I want to expand my chances of finding an attractive, successful European male counterpart, what cities in North America are better for that?
*Cities that are NOT in the south, however. And those whose populace are well-educated and liberal, with low crime and a lively art scene.
Alaska, not far from Canada and they are always looking for women.
You have every single right to date whomever you want to date. I honestly believe that majority of the people still prefer to date within their own race. If I can figure out what race I belong to, lol, I'd rather date within my own race. I certainly don't like some of the treatment I received growing up. I couldn't even escape racism from my own blood-related family members, but that's just life.
Just for the record, "white men have an Asian fetish" is a myth. It is really getting old. I've dated so many white guys and none of them have Asian fetish. They liked me because they found me attractive and interesting, period. The most gorgeous men in my opinion are Italians, French, Asians, and black men, but it is just my personal taste.
At the end of the day I want a guy to like me for me and to make me a better freaking person. Most times, i will meet an Asian fetish guy who says and believes the stupidest things and I just feel like what is the point of all these?!
Maybe you should move to Newport Beach, California. There are a lot of very educated and attractive white guys in my area.
Good luck to you.

It's not about Asian women. The Seattle Freeze is alive and well in Vancouver. People just aren't very sociable in the grey and wet weather in that region. If you want a social life, you should move back to California, or to the NE of the US. Or Toronto or Montreal.
