So what sort of women are you looking for? Do you have any deal breakers?
This is a loaded question. I'm picky, but I don't think I'm asking for too much. Here's what I'm looking for:
1. Woman who's extroverted. This works well for me since I'm introverted
2. Age 30-40 without kids and wants them. THIS is proving impossible in my current city
3. Non-smoker.
4. Physically fit, or at least making an effort and eating fairly well. I do, so why can't I find a woman who does?
5. Educated with a good career.
6. Down to earth and not materialistic
7. A few common interests
I tend to prefer brunettes. I also obviously want a woman who's nurturing, caring, etc. Its not rocket science, but sure seems that way. There has to be a woman out there somewhere with these qualities.

In Atlanta? That surprises me somewhat. I know it's the South, but it's a large enough and cosmopolitan enough city that I would expect there to be a lot of 30-something women who want kids for the first time. Chicago is chock full of them.
Advice and tips you picked up from dating throughout the years. Most of what I know is trial and error and self taught.
Most of what I know is, too. Like most things, you get better at it with experience, if you're willing to learn from your mistakes. Just try not to become one of the bitter irrational people (many of whom you see on this forum) who blame all of their problems with dating on the opposite sex rather than looking at themselves.
I will say that, besides getting older and wiser, my options for compatible women increased greatly when I moved from a small conservative southern town to a large liberal northern city. I shudder to think what would have become of me had I married any of the women I dated in my 20's, at least three of whom wanted that. Then again, I know guys who married in their 20's (in some cases even early 20's) and are still happily married, so your mileage may vary.

You listed a bunch of desirable traits. Obviously at your age it's going to be difficult to find, in general. Have you gave online dating a try?

Yes, I'm aware of that. It's the one he said was proving impossible to find, though, and the one to which I chose to respond, which is why I clearly and deliberately quoted that one and not the others.
Are there any older guys here who can throw in their input?
I don't know how much older your looking for, but I'm 41 and I would have to agree with the 20-25 being the most diffulcult. Each year since has gotten better. In the early 20s it wasn't because I wasn't dating, but because of it being a transitioning point in life: College, work, money, figuring out who I was and what I found attractive in a woman. Much more self assured with each passing year. Don't feel I have to prove myself, more comfortable in my own skin.
Pickier now in some respects: personality and attitude. More open in other respects: Not just attracted to blonde beach bunny looking women as I was in my early 20's.
Interesting poll results. I would not have thought that 20-25 was found to be universally the worst considering some here look back on that age range as being the good old days
