Not necessarily a romantic relationship, but maybe one with a friend, as a result of some political flame war or something.

In just the last week, I've had two people not only "unfriend" me on Facebook, but actually go to the point of blocking me so I couldn't even see their pages.

Facebook doesn't ruin relationships. Facebook is only a medium for people to ruin relationships with.

If someone "unfriends" me, who cares. If I "unfriend" someone they can deal with it. If they feel the need to block me, again, who cares? I normally don't block anyone. If they "unfriend" me I don't "add them as friend." If someone sends me a request I may or may not confirm their request.

I usually LOL at those who block me. It would imply that I give a crap about them. Which I don't

My friends and I never get into arguments in a public setting like Facebook. If we have a problem it's handled in person.

Because I lack the ability to restrain myself from informing people of their own stupidity. Personally, I think it's a public service, but some people seem to disagree.

This. Facebook only makes it easier for a person who was going to cheat anyway.
