According to the MISC on the BodyBuilding website: A white knight is defined as a male that treats woman as goddesses and does nothing but shower then in compliments on how wonderful and beautiful and special they are. Maybe be used as a noun or a verb. Brah, if you keep white knighting every girl you meet, you'll never get as action
A white knight is a guy (usually a generation older, and unattractive) who pretends to be emotionally supportive of a woman who has just been through some kind of trauma (rape, abuse, death of a child, etc.) in the hope that she will then be moved to lower her standards and her pants.
Women who have been through horrible experiences have be warned to watch out for these guys, unfortunately .
In internet forum usage, it means younger (usually) guys who take a woman's side in an argument in order to make themselves appear generally more attractive (compassionate, empathetic, nonsexist...). It's mostly an accusation made by men to other men. It means, 'You dont' really believe what you are typing; you are just hoping to get nookie.'
Well I never got a "white knight" mainly because I was hyper vigilant about them. No dating when my kids were around. I didn't need to anyway, they went to their dad's every second weekend so I did what I liked when they weren't here.
I made a couple of exceptions over the years but those were both semi LTRs with nice guys who treated me and my kids well, and both times I chose someone who didn't want kids or commitment so it was all superficially very casual. "My friend X is going to visit" kind of stuff.
My kids already had a father...a fairly ordinary one, but they seem to like him.
