Every day I take a 1000mg tablet of Vitamin C, 4 fish oil tablet..1000, 1 vitamin D3... 1000

I haven't had a cold, flu, etc in many years.

I don't know if these vitamin supplements would help anyone else...

Take Care.

I see hawk posted about some vitamin supplements, I wonder if they really help. I keep hearing conflicting things, one thing I read is that if you eat right you shouldn't have take anything, then I hear that you should take a one a day type anyway.......

it caught up to me. It's been all work & no play-
That's gotta change

I think in my case I've been just continually rundown and tired. I've got a sleep disorder and haven't felt rested in 12 yrs....... I think that's why I've been getting sicker more often the last few yrs, it's starting to catch up with me....

I used to take so much more- Gingko Biloba, Garlic Supplements,
Vitaman E, Vitamin A, Selenium & Fish oil, too....
I believe (and I have researched this extensively, because I hate wasting $$)
they are very effective, along with eating right & all that, lol
One thing that's toxic is stress, & I really need to reduce it in my life- meditation & yoga help me....
Then again a good cocktail every so often also alleviates a lot of stress,
or at least helps me to unwind after a long day.

I think a lot of people aren't doing the right things when it comes to taking supplemental pills, so a lot of people will say negative things about taking them.

I think the trick to taking them is not only eating relatively right, but eating SOMETHING before ingesting the supplement, and do not expect fast results. A lot of people will just wake up and take those supplements right away thinking it's the right thing to do, and then nothing happens because there's nothing to help digest the supplements, and while they do digest, they do not work as effectively.

Supplements do work for most people who take them the right way. I'm pretty sure that there will be people who truly do not benefit from taking supplements of any kind.

Actually, Prince you're right about this- I also used to take a Super B complex. Every time I took it, I'd get dizzy & weak feeling. I realized after awhile that I was taking it in the morning, along with coffee, but no food in my stomach to absorb it. I had to train myself to eat something just to take those.....
And that reminds me, lol I need to go shop for more of those
