That^ is one view, but on the other hand...some people do appreciate stability and reliability,
people who plan and are to some degree predictable-that makes me feel secure & comfortable, not "bored".

And some folks appreciate a "well-rounded" person (who has a bit of interest in many things)
rather than someone with intense "passions" (towards a very few things).

People have differing preferences, not everybody is a big fan of spontaneity and adventure.

A couple things related to this:

1. A lot of the quiet/shy men are probably the ones who would be labeled 'boring' by many as well, as they tend to be interested in their own introverted pursuits (in my case, weather, watching sports, reading, etc.)

2. These men who are labeled 'boring' I could argue are often more interesting than the predictable people who enjoy partying and thrive on meeting people and being rowdy. Everyone seems to have a unique interest, so unless someone likes to sleep all day, they shouldn't be labeled 'boring'.

Yeah, I even have a thread about how organized people are more likely to have a girlfriend/boyfriend.

I would not even want to be friends with a boring guy either.

Which thread is that^ ?

I'm not arguing in favor of being methodical and a planner, though those are qualities I personally appreciate and value.
Some people are into that, yet some are not.

It's just that *some* people go for the exciting adventurous (make-it-up-as-you-go-along) sort of person-
and *some* of us go for the opposite personality/temperament style (slow-and-steady-wins-the-race) kind of person.

One answer/"type" doesn't fit/suit everyone, so I'm trying to pull apart the generalizations-we're a diverse bunch.
