In Jersey, I was considered "butch," I guess. I did a lot of work around my father's property, drove (and still drive) a pickup, spent most of my time with my dogs, rarely wear anything more than lip gloss in terms of makeup, had (and still have) a lot of platonic male friends who I go drinking with (now, mainly when I am back in Jersey), still wear mostly jeans, t-shirts and boots, etc.
But I'm all boobs and butt, with long, curly hair, so there's usually no issue with being mistaken for a guy.
In Colorado, however, I am mainly average in terms of femininity. I had a rather sparse dating life in Jersey, partly because the men I met didn't appeal to me and partly because I didn't appeal to them. Here, I can usually find a date with no trouble.
