I was at the airport yesterday, waiting to catch a flight back home. I was in my corner as usual, reading a book. This brunette was sitting right in front of me when she starts chatting and asking questions about the book I was reading. Then she asked me where I was flying to, she knew my city and starts talking about it. She asked I did for a living and some other personal questions. I answered them all awkwardly and tried to show signs that I wanted to go back to my book.
When my flight's boarding opened, she asked me for my number before I left. I told her I didn't my personal contact to strangers. She looked puzzled and just said "so you are married or have girlfriend."
I just shrugged and went away. I mean, why do people assume you're committed just because you don't give them your phone number? I wouldn't give it like that to anyone, woman or man, young and old.
I thought I would like it the first time a woman noticed me (no woman had ever initiated conversation with me) but it was the most uncomfortable position I've ever been on.

Oh yes but now I know and would never think it was so bad. I had never felt so uncomfortable and inadequate in my life. Nothing like other people tell.

Yeah, I admit I do get uncomfortable when a woman hits on me. For some reason, even more so when she is really attractive.
WTF?!
It is because I still have a lot of disconnects to work through, though.
