Like you really love each other and there's potential for you two to get married.
Those are two different things for me. My first "really love each other" was in high school. My first and only "potential to get married" was well into my 30's.
It would be nice to have a definition of "serious relationship". To me it means one that could lead to marriage. Which mine did at the age of 21. Before that, I might have had boyfriends but none of them was what I would define as 'serious'.
I was 18, he was 24, only dated my hubby we married six months later...Yes love at first sight! Yes he been my one and only first everything.....Going on 32 years in June~
