Yes, I would say five years is, for all practical purposes, more or less in "the same age group", at least in your 30s and up. Younger than that and just a few years can be a huge difference in maturity, stage, school/career, etc. Really, it all depends.

In your 20's and below it's more of a deal. I was early 20's when I met Mrs. Chow and she was 28 I believe and at those ages it could be more of an issue. I was suave, mature and dapper and Mrs. Chow was immature for her age so it worked out ok for us. (j/k) She's about 5 yrs older than me, but at our ages it's not even an issue. LOL.

As I said in the other thread, I felt pretty compatable with the 41-42 year old I was with, when I was 31. She seemed to have more of an insecurity when she found out my mom was just 8 years older than her and closer in age to her than I was.

I felt the biggest problem with our ages is that I want a family one day, not a huge one. But one or two kids and she already had two kids of her own and wasn't having anymore. 31 and 41 isn't quite as much of a difference as 21 and 31, but it all depends on where you are in life.

I have no idea. But as a woman who dates younger men exclusively i'm just happy because there's a lot less competition. Lol. And guys are so much hotter when they're younger...

Really? I rarely see that. On tinder you can see this marked decline... like the guys in their early 20s are all really good looking, then it starts turning into balding/wrinkled territory, and after 30 is a no go. Incidentally I don't notice a huge change in women during that time, and I think a lot of it has to do with the pressure women are under to maintain their youth. There aren't a lot of dudes applying retinol to their skin every night and obsessively wearing sunscreen... I'm sure if they were, the aging discrepancy wouldn't be quite so huge.

My age range is to 33-45.And I'm fine with the way they look. I like graying mening,I like bald men, chubby men, favorite is nerdy men,and I love beards.
Women have make-up,and hair dye which helps.
Many men can color their hair but choose not too. Silver foxes are hot too!

I can't answer for all men but I would like a younger partner since I want kids. Women around my age (32), their biological clocks would be ticking, so for reproductive purposes, it would benefit me to partner up with a slightly younger female.
