While obvious, it seems many women still have a hard time accepting or believing this. Some also think men are all about the physical, and women the emotional, which is such a gross simplification. I've liked women mostly for their personalities, and there are women who bonk men mostly for looks as well.

Some women think of men as neanderthals or stone like creatures who only have the 'physical' sex drive...

plus I think while you can separate sex and love, sex itself is ultimately a quest for emotional intimacy. The feeling when you climax is like a drug, sort of a mix between cocaine and an opiate (I would imagine, as I've never taken those drugs).

Men can have sex without feeling emotionally connected, but sex for men is really about emotional intimacy?

Women don't understand this but women are the same way?

I don't think that's what he meant! It makes no sense how can you be exclusive and sleep around at the same time?
