In my opinion it depends on the attractiveness as I find guys generally approach while gals approach if the guy is attractive.
The guy if he's attractive and the gal is unattractive as he'll probably be approached for relationships while the gal will be solely/mainly pursued for sex.
The gal if she's average/atractive and the guy is average/unattractive as she'll probably be approached solely/mainly for sex but there may be enough quality options for a partner that she can choose.
I think public polls are the best. I think you get more accurate and true results that way.
As far as who I think is more likely to have a partner, it depends on the attractiveness of the individual. The more attractive the person is, the more likely they will find someone interested in them, even while just out and about at Trader Joes or Starbucks or something.
Both will suffer when it comes to dating/relationships.
No social life pretty much means a person is limited to going from work....to the grocery store....and back home.
Even the most attractive/rich/famous of men and women will have a hard time meeting suitable mates if they limit their outside activity to just the grocery store.
I did this for a year straight and it was horrible.
Humans need interaction with the opposite sex. It is refreshing.

In what sense? It's not like if a poll is anonymous the website automatically switches the person's choice. If anything, anonymous polling is more accurate as it protects the voter from unwarranted criticism for their choice.

If a poll is anonymous, then, for example, when the poll question is posed to women, you have no idea how many men voted too, just to mess around and skew the results.
However, I think public polls will prevent people from replying. I know I generally don't vote in any public poll and tend to not vote most times anyway. (I also think most polls are dumb and shouldn't be in this forum anyway but I digress...)
More likely to happen?
A. A man with no social life having a partner
B. A man with no social life having a woman
