I'm curious if there is a difference in how men and women act or in the vibes we put out, consciously or subconsciously, when we are losing interest in our SO & relationship?

Stereotypical example(male): I've been really busy working....
Stereotypical example (female): Can't tonight, I've got to wash my hair...

I'm using really general, to the extreme, lame examples here. I'm curious how differently men and women act and how each mentally approaches ending relationships. Do we emit or exhibit different behaviors to the soon to be ex SO?

Any thoughts or experiences? I've got to go wash my hair now

From what I've seen in personal experience is that girls start talking to more guys and tend to meet new guy friends. Usually platonic, but they start becoming more friendly with other guys. As soon as a slight amount of suspicion arises they get bent out of shape and start talking about space and "trust" and turn it into a rather large fight.
