Reminded me of my folks. They made it 55 years together.

Every time I read some cynical, poseur twentysomething's thread about how true love doesn't exist, I'll think about this article. The next time I read some thread by some halfwit talking about how a couple just isn't supposed to live together for a lifetime, I'll think about that article, too. Thanks for posting.

Ironically, it's probably their constant cynicism which keeps them from achieving something like this.

Why is that? And I don't think they're fairy tales. Well, obviously not. LOL Even after only 20 years and they die together is romantic. I've heard so many of these stories. Most don't die this close to one another tho'. Usually, it's within days, weeks or months, not hours.
