Had to dump the girlfriend today. Out of the clear blue she just started turning rude, making negative comments about everything. Last night we went out drinking and she whined and whined. She left early this morning, we didn't say a word to each other while walking. I told her it's not working and she didn't disagree.
Was a great time while it lasted, I don't understand how someone can pull a complete night and day like that!
Oh well, I have a new date for Thursday... but still I'm dumbfounded.
Alas, I saw it coming after your thread about the movies. That was the warm-up. This was the pitch. Or b-tch. Take your pick.
We don't always agree, but you seem like a decent guy, Burg, so I hope this next one is nicer to you.
Looks like she never got over you asking her to pay for the movie ticket and the resentment just grew stronger :P
On my next date, when I go out with the next girl... when I go to pay I'm going to "accidentally" drop a few hundred bucks on the ground so I look rich.

One (made up) word came to mind:
HORRORMONES
OP--I think you blew it. Some really good women have once a month "I'm a monster" meltdowns.

Not a good idea. Then she will expect you to pay for EVERYTHING from there on out. Lol

If they are great the rest of the time, you win.
Nah, I didn't blow it.. she did.
I've dated enough and have been around enough people to know when to call a relationship quits and when not to. The fact that she didn't have anything against ending it and didn't say anything to keep me around speaks for itsself.
She lost a guy who liked her a lot and tried hard to make her happy. I don't care anymore, I will go out in a couple hours and enjoy my time in an awesome city.

I guess only men get to be human.
Women can be human but they should also be adults and know that their behavior and actions have consequences, like in this case, making a guy who was already on the fence about her jump.

Good for you OP. I like your attitude.
No need to put up with that sort of nonsense. Life is tough already as it is trying to manage yourself and your own affairs. No need to add an additional source of stress in your life.
If women want to throw childish hissy fits at every little slight they are more than welcome to do so on their own....

By this logic, a woman should excuse her husband if during his "once a month meltdowns" he comes home and goes Muhammad Ali on her because he's great the rest of the time.
Just think about how that sounds.
