I ran into this Pew Research report regarding the increase in interracial marriages and certain stats jumped out at me. The first is that the most common is White/Hispanics and Whites/Asians, I though it would have been the Black male/White female combo. The second is that the most educated and highest wage earners were White man/Asian women combos (I kinda expected this) and the lowest earnings were from Black males/White women. White males/Asian women also had the lowest divorce rates and Black males/White women the highest. Interesting no?
I still don't understand the point of these questions. Unless the person is insecure about their own race, and want an "answer" as to why a certain type of "person" isn't attracted them, or is afraid of losing that "person" to someone else of a different race. That's all I can think of.
