I think one difference between beautiful and captivating is that captivating has to do with charisma. And that's doesn't necessarily involve beauty. It's about a certain magnetic energy a woman exudes, and a knack for speaking in an interesting way, or discussing unusual or fascinating topics.
I suppose when she has you tied up in the cellar she is the captivator who is captivating the captivatee, which would be you.
I was going to make the same joke but you beat me to it. Instead I'll share this: I recently read that some species of octopus engage in cannibalism after mating. It always seems the females eat the males in nature when this sort of thing happens. Preying Mantis, Black Widow, etc. Now we see it in octopus as well. Females tend to be larger and stronger and if she can get her tentacles around the male during matting, it's curtains for him! The female octopus will literally choke the male and then drag him off to his fate. Very captivating.
On a side note, all I can say is if the human species engaged in post-coitus cannibalism of the male gender by the female gender I would have been a lot more selective about whom I lost my virginity to.
