I find it funny that some women say they'd dump their boyfriend if they found out he slept with an escort, but they cry like hell if he dumps her because she slept with too many guys.
I guess both could apply. Certainly hypocritical and there's nothing funny about a hypocrite.
It's not really hypocritical, necessarily. Sowing his oats is one thing, particularly if he was safe and respectful of the women he was with. But I would have trouble accepting a man who was able to treat sex as nothing more than a business transaction.
So what bothers you more about it, the number or the fact that she "didn't have to pay" for it?
Neither bother me. I'm bothered by the hypocrisy.

It's definitely hypocritical. If a woman is having casual sex with FWBs, FBs, or random hookups and he sees an escort; it's casual sex on both your parts. Neither are in any place to judge the other. And ultimately, he's going to pay for sex in one way or another.

You're right, that is funny. And come to think of it..a guy desperate enough to pay for sex probably wouldn't have the nerve to step to me, let alone speak to me without sh*tting his pants, so I ain't gonna worry bout that, hahahahah

If you're going to break up with someone because they went to an escort(pretty petty reason BTW), then you can't complain if he breaks up with you because he feels your partner count is too high. Does that mean he should break up with a woman because she had a sex with a celebrity? Or because she had sex with a random at a bar or club?
Pros - might make you less 'needy' around women
- might make you a better confident partner(most women don't like guys who don't know what they are doing in bed)
- saves you time searching for a FWB or FB
Cons - can get expensive
- most women will dump you if they find out
- might make you lazy and not bother searching for a partner
- criminal record if caught
