In the past when I got a particularly hot GF I would love to basically show her off. Not in a rub peoples face kind of thing but more like a guy showing his new GF that he is proud to be dating.
Now when it came to exes or girls that put me in the friend zone I definitely liked putting snuggly pictures on FB.
If a guy is that insecure that he feels the need to parade me around, like a dog pissing on everything just to mark his territory and prove himself, it would be a huge turnoff.

I'm sure people are going to jump all over you for being superficial. However I will answer your question another way. Yes, I have had some really hot girlfriends and whether consciously or not, I did enjoy taking them around. However, having a relationship that works is so much more than just looks so the ego boost that comes from being with a beautiful girl is rather fleeting if other aspects aren't ideal.

Interesting responses, as my ex-SO has made a big stink of social media pimping his current GF, about whom the kindest thing my friends, male and female, said was "Maybe she's really nice?" And these are people who would not b.s. me to make me feel better. Point is, the more ostentatious the pimping, the more it tends to backfire.
