My ex was in her 20s. She never took hints like, "I would like to start working out together" or made an attempt to lose baby weight. Was very lazy. Ended up with wings, cottage cheese, and lobes of fat. Then she wondered why I didn't want sex as often. That, amongst the lying she did, bad mothering, and overall condition she left the house in while I worked, just finally broke me down.
hmm, while on the surface i can understand your response, however, seems to suggest that as a wife loses her beauty with age, marital contentment maybe more challenging.
the other day i watched a segment on CNN about sugar daddies and was surprised to hear that 40% of these older men engaged in the sugaring business were married yet many of these more younger women had no issue with "being involved with a married man" as long as the price is right. sounds disastrous for wives >40 imho. and, yes, i know, as long as the self-maintenance is there, it shouldn't be a problem.
I believe it. Who wants a wife who sits around and gets fat? Not me.
I am over the moon happy with my marriage. My wife is HOT. Most other men think she's hot. Heck, even WOMEN think she's hot. I love it. She really is the most beautiful women in the world to me (and many others). Im happy.

It doesn't mention how "attractiveness" is being gauged. It's conflating good-looking and attractive, which are not necessarily the same. Attractiveness is not the same as sheer beauty, which in itself is quite subjective. This means it's not necessarily affected by aging either.
The article should really say that marital bliss has correlation to perceived attractiveness of one's wife.

oh well, guess that is someone else's problem.
There is a difference between getting older, and gaining twice your body weight.

yeah, right. i think it made reference to physical beauty and also indicated a UCLA Institute of Relationship study confirmed the same, which i would think would distinguish between objective assessment of beauty versus subjective.
good try at attempting to make it a "beauty is in the eye of the beholder" analysis cuz my guess is that spiritual or personality beauty were ruled out. suffice to say that men are visual creatures well trained in recognizing universally accepted physical beauty characteristics. a regular consumption of porn also reinforces that too. just telling you like it is.
