When I was on OLD this wouldn't have bothered me. My Facebook friends are all people I know or have known in real life. Why would I care if we each learned that the other was using OLD?

lol ive done that too and it seems like a weird thing to be embarassed about, but i was mortified and deactivated my OKCupid for a week. I wasn't sure why it bothered me, I've told some of my friends I use online dating and its not that embarassing but it felt really unseemly.
