It's also easy for American men who want traditional women. First of all, there are really nice girls in all parts of the US, but if you don't like your current area...
Plan A
1. Save money. You could explore the North Dakota option and save up six figures very quickly. Even if you work at McDonald's while living with your parents or in your car, you could realistically save $10k per year, especially with public assistance programs.
2. After saving whatever amount of money you feel comfortable leaving with, move wherever you find the women most pleasant, be it Utah, Argentina, Poland, or the Philippines. At least as an American citizen, you can move anywhere you like and never deal with the kinds of financial problems the locals may have.
In most traditional countries, if a man prefers foreign women, he won't have it as easy to just save five or six figures and leave.
Plan B
Another life option Americans have is to sit in front of a their computers and complain for years on internet forums.
I agree that there are a lot of overweight men, but there are a lot of overweight women too. So I think this is basically a wash.
Before packing your bags for North Dakota keep in mind the winters are VERY long and brutal. It's not uncommon to have snowstorms as early as October and as late as early May. Also, highs in winter not getting above zero and lows -20 to -30. If you're not into snowmobiling or cross country skiing, not much else to do.

My point is I keep seeing guys whine on this forum, like how 20 percent of guys supposedly bang 80 percent of girls (or even 10/90), as if 20 percent of American men look like Channing Tatum, make $500k/year, sport custom suits, and aggressively play the numbers game.
Before deciding against North Dakota over some snow, keep in mind that there are people there without college degrees earning over $200k/year (usually after at least three years of experience). There are also seasoned lifeguards in Newport Beach making $200k/year. For those complaining about how the job market is why they're broke or how money would be the magic pill for their dating lives, here's your opportunity!
Unlike in Europe, an American man would need little effort to be in the top 10 percent in looks.
2. It's easier to meet women.
You have literally zero competition because only a small percentage of men actually meet women (usually drunk at a bar), while the majority of guys only date through their social circles and online. Thanks to widespread addiction to porn and video games, high-testosterone men who sweep women off their feet are few and far between.
3. Feminism.
The typical guy thinks a woman with a higher income would never date him. Hit the gym, follow men's style/fashion blogs, stop jerking off so much, and you might have attractive and successful women spending money on you.
4. Hookup culture.
Many women won't require men to take them on dates. Dating is mainly for fun, and unlike the past, casual dating is no longer something only rich men can afford.
5. Lifestyle
Where else but the United States, along with a few other Western nations, can one so easily make a good or great income, while having such a lower cost of living?
There is still a huge job boom in North Dakota (ditto for the Canadian oil sands) where both men and women can earn six-figure incomes doing blue-collar and white-collar work. Have you written posts envious of rich men? Have you ever complained about the job market? If so, why aren't you in North Dakota? Men used to move long distances for work. Nowadays, boys whine on the internet.
Spontaneous meets are really difficult because if women aren't hanging out in groups, they almost always have headphones or ear buds in to keep people from bothering them, or keep out the noise as well. If you have a small circle of friends and said friends are seemingly always busy (the workaholic types) you are not invited to many social events, and OLD is futile for guys unless you are decently attractive. I am not into the hookup culture because I would prefer to have a real connection with a woman (not to diminish the guys who do, just my preference and hopefully a lot of guys' preference). As for the final point, it comes with the cost of crazy college debt for many.

I have relatives in North Dakota and I can assure you that it is not the panacea that the mass media makes it out to be. The 'boom' is in the ultra-rural western part of the state, around Dickinson. The cost of living there has gotten absurd and eats up a huge amount of what people are earning, mainly due to severe housing shortages. Most of the people moving there from out of state are men, so there is a women shortage in the oil production areas. So it's definitely not a place you want to move to for dating. I wouldn't recommend people moving there for economic reasons either. More people moving there for work will just drive down wages as the labor pool expands. Meanwhile, the housing shortage will become an even bigger problem. And you don't want to become homeless in North Dakota during the long, bitterly-cold winters. It can be fatal.
