Ladies, on a date are you fine with a guy smelling like roses/flowers?

There are some fragrances marketed as men's colognes that have too much of a floral note to be considered "masculine" in my opinion. One cologne "Gray Flannel" by Geoffrey Beene is absolutely awful to me ... too much violet and lavender accords. Fortunately, most men's colognes fall into these catagories: leather, woody, citrusy, musk, aquatic, spicy, "green" and so on.
During the day and in warm weather I like to wear clean, fresh, citrusy scents. Not too much. Some of the more famous ones include Christian Dior's "Eau Sauvage," Cerruti's "1881," Hermes "Eau d'Orange Vert" and so on.
One company that specializes in "aquatic" scents - evocative of fresh sea air and ocean spray - is Nautica, which is a famous fashion design house.
For an evening date, something a bit warmer and sexier might be in order. By 'warmer' and 'sexier' I mean a scent that might include fragrant woods like sandalwood, leather, tobacco, vanilla, amber, etc.
I don't like flowery fragrances on men or women. Even less so on men. I prefer a subtle spicy or musky scent on my man.

No, I like my man to smell very masculine (e.g. musky/woodsy scents) so I would likely be repelled by a rose/flower scent, which I associate with femininity.
