Just to let you know about the money; we are both full professors. I pay the majority of the bills in China because English is more valuable than Chinese here. She will pay the majority of bills in the US because Chinese is more valuable than English there (from a teaching standpoint).

People are so concerned with how things look. Nobody is "the norm." You see differences between couples all over. The most famous are good looking/not good looking, and older/younger. But there are multiple differences in between.
