Just depends on how they handle themselves, and a combination of traits they have.
Like someone may be very chivalrous and kind, but if that's in combination with him being a doormat and/or a wuss, there's no appeal. If he's a guy that can handle himself and take care of business, doesn't let people walk all over him, that's great, but if it's in combination with him being arrogant and or controlling, that's not working.
So, they just need to have a balance of just the right traits.

What makes the definition even more so difficult to nail down is the fact that what is sexy for you might be a total dud for me.
