How about no?

If i was in a restaurant and needed to pass gas i'd excuse myself and take a trip to the washroom.

I'm married to an unapolagetically flatulent man, and he's been that way since I've known him. But even he doesn't lean sideways, and rip a loud one in a place like a restaurant. I'd like to be with a person who has some manners, and there is a time and a place for unabashedly passing gas. First date, nice restaurant? No. I don't like to be embarrassed, and wouldn't be pleased with a man who did so on purpose.

What would I do? I'd raise an eyebrow and blink at him like.."seriously?"...and how he acted would tell me a lot. If he thought it was funny, that would be the last date. If he appeared embarrassed and apologized, or it seemed as though it was outside of his control, I could easily put it behind me (no pun intended.) I don't hold things against people if it wasn't their fault...but intent is everything...

If it wasn't obvious that it came from him, I'd ignore it.

Again...big difference between just cracking one off very deliberately, and something unintentional that just happened.

I won't leave because of that, unless smell is so overwhelming I have to run out for fresh air...But it's enough to spoil my appetite I'd probably stop eating

Unfortunately, sometimes this "guest" arrives without warning sign

I would laugh like a maniac and feel bad for him if he was embarrassed.
