Why Do People Say That Dating Gets Easier For Men as They Get Older (late 20s and 30s)? (women, single)

I haven't noticed any change at all personally and i'm now 26 years old. I've gone from pretty good looking to very good looking as I've gotten older, I've gotten more and more fit, more and more stylish, more and more mature and understanding/educated as a person. Financially, my income has doubled in the last 3 years all the way up to 170K living in a pretty cheap area. I see my high school friends here and there and nobody is the overall package that i am yet I'm the only one who is perma - single. I still find dating to be absolutely impossible beyond impossible. Finding a woman who is attracted to me is like trying to find bigfoot...and I always sense a ton of resistance whenever I try to make something happen.



At what point does it actually get easier?

I would think it gets easier for both sexes. By that age most know what they want in life and who they are looking for. I did.

It only gets better for a guy if the following conditions are met:

* He's physically attractive

* His physical attractiveness doesn't decline much over time

* His career status has a steady increase relative to his peers'

* He doesn't mind going after women who are a decade younger than him

Very few guys fit that profile.

Considering I get compliments on a damn near daily basis now, I would qualify

Look 10 times better now at 26 than 18

I make 170K at a very reasonable cost of living area

That's around top 2%. For a cheap area, that's top 0.5%

For my age range (under 30), that's like top 0.0005%

He doesn't mind going after women who are a decade younger than him

I'm okay +/- 5 years of my age


I can't go 10 years younger because I'm 26... I'm not dating teenagers
