Some comments on the "can married men have female friends" thread got me wondering about this. Ladies, what vibes or "signals" do men give off that get your attention, get you interested, or make you think we are interested beyond friendship? Is it just engaging in a conversation? Too much eye contact? I think there is a lot of truth to the whole "female intuition" thing and i'm just wondering what types of things you pick up on.
Unless they ask me out, I pretty much ignore it. Otherwise if I feel some married guy is getting too close I shut down the friendship (or any guy now that I'm married).

A direct signal is a lot of "invading" personal space. He'll sit/stand closer, put his arm on the back of your chair, maybe find an excuse to touch you--even in a "safe" zone like the shoulder or hand.
