I've noticed whether it's on TV or in real life, folks see it as hot when two females are kissing, but when two guys do it, it's rendered as disgusting. Why the double standard? Why is one more gross than the other?

Because seeing 2 guys kiss IS gross...

I'm not homophobic and very accepting of gays, gay rights, etc, but even my gay friends, I don't like to see them kissing. Sorry.

Even 2 girls, if one of them is really butch, no, sorry. Turn off.

It isn't. Neither are gross.

But there are lots of idiotic people in this world and subscribe to bizarre notions of what masculinity is about. Heck, most of this country confuses biological sex and gender, or sexual orientation and sexual actions... you can't expect them to have any sort of enlightened perspective on anything.

I'm gay and I find it off-putting.

But I don't find men expressing their sexual ity to be appealing. Even watching a man and a woman kiss too aggressively is...meh.

In fact, can everyone just make out in their own house?

Im all for all forms of affection being kept out of public eyes where they be between gay, lesbian, or straight couples.

lets not beat around the bush here. Most men would love a fantasy night with two women.

^^^It's the male gaze that's still the perspective of a lot of media--the assumption is that the straight man is the default setting and what they want to see is presented as fact.

This is B.S.! Two unattractive, obese, unkempt lesbians kissing is gross. Two unattractive malnourished unkempt lesbians is gross. Stop making things up.
