Totally agree. I would bet also that most men have been with at least one woman who was a hooker or porn star before she was with them. They just were not let in on the fact.
If they're married, if they're public figures espousing family values, if they're taking advantage of underage women or playing fast and loose with consent you could argue that it's absolutely someone else's business.
Absolutely. Advocates for the legalization of prostitution do not support prostitution of the underaged... nor do they support forced prostitution. Way too many people assume this incorrectly. Most do expect it to be heavily regulated.. and would support it being heavily regulated.
Child labor laws have existed for a long time now. Prostitution as a labor type is no exception. So the whole "underage" working is ~not~ a prostitution issue but a labor one. It has long been addressed by said child labor laws.
As to the married and public figures espousing family values... fine. But infidelity doesn't necessarily mean prostitution. That in of itself is also not just a prostitution issue. Even then.. I don't think it is anyone elses business but the family itself.

I don't care if political figures are unfaithful. In fact, I assume they are. But I do care if they are involved in illegal activity. It's not about family values - it's about it being illegal.

No argument from me.
It does bring us back to legalization of prostitution debate.
If prostitution was legal then it boils down just to the infidelity itself... which I assume you would be ok with.
You think most women have been hookers but not porn stars? Okay. Then most men have been with at least one woman that used to be a hooker.
Most women have been neither. If a women was one of the two a hooker would be more likely.
