That's just the thing, this topic is asymmetrical by gender - a guy of decent means is open, generally, to a hot younger gal who is making minimum wage or even is unemployed.
A gal with a brain that actually works tends to not be interested in a guy who makes minimum wage at a dead-end job. An exception would be a (usually older) lady of means who is interested in a younger guy (pool boy) type relationship.
Maybe we need a sticky to the effect that "While a woman's beauty is her wealth, a man's wealth is his beauty" - and that this is not exactly new news. I'm sure Egyptians from 5000 years ago would agree that it was not new news even then!
So, theoretically, yes I would. In practical terms, I'd consider it with other items. Lifestyle-wise, there may be issues between a minimum wage earner and me.

I certainly don't disagree with what your saying mate
Obviously all women are different and yes I know a few that are not interested in fellas that earn minimum wages, some are caught up in their circles ( investment banking/ stockbroker ) and only date men that are in the same social circles. But most I know that don't date a man on minimum wage is not because they expect a lavish lifestyle but they would like her boyfriend to take them out for a meal/drink a couple of times a week, on holiday ( vacation ) or the odd gift now and then.
Which in reality it's not exactly harsh for a lady to expect this from any boyfriend as It's just normal basic things that come with every day life, would you agree?
Well that's way more than my in-college son made at his summer job. And he has no shortage of dates.
