So Spitballing the idea thinking of the pros and cons she could think its sweet and be totally freaked out and throw it away sounds kind of fun but things could get ugly i have no idea if she has a guy. I can usually tell she. She looks single ( and smells single ) but you never know.

Youre better off spending that money on a nice dinner for yourself. But go ahead and create some workplace drama.

Not a good idea to make a play for a fellow employee. And why would freaking a girl out sound fun? Mod cut.

Skip the flowers but do bring her chocolate. Most people like chocolate. Well I don't, but then again I like Marmite, so don't mind me...

What's the point of an anonymous gift? Ask her out for coffee instead.

Or be a real gent and order a flower and a chocolate for all of the women in the office. Group love is so much nicer.

I would think asking her to a no expectations lunch so you can strike up some conversation, learn about her, and determine if she is single (and interested) would be a far better idea than playing some awkward "secret admirer on valentines day" angle on a coworker who may or may not be seeing someone, and may or may not be interested.

A no expectations lunch will generate far less workplace drama if there is nothing to be had between the two.

You're wasting a lot of money on what could be nothing. Why don't you just talk to her. Better yet, forget the whole thing. Workplace romances are huge potential for problems. Don't jeopardize your job.

The women I know wouldnt be too kind about recieving gifts from someone that didn't have the balls to give them to her himself

What the hell does " smells single " mean?

I think OP is too shy to say something to her.

"If I send flowers and chocolates and it goes good I can say it was me. If It goes bad I can hide under my desk."
