I think by 2040 someone else can worry about dating. Maybe by then the Govt will just assign us someone to mate with.

I'm just going to enjoy the women in my world today. So many women need good love'n.

I think it's stupid.

People can't socialize because of technology.

I believe we started paging, then faxing, then emailing and texting.

We have lost all touch with the natural way of life. Why is it that we would create a way to simulate human touch? First off, you would look ridiculous walking around your apartment alone with giant sunglasses on acting as if you were sleep walking.

You know, the power went out in my house the other day. The peace and quiet of the home was such a refreshment to me. Although the family felt a bit jaded they still had 3G amongst the dark room.

I embraced the power outage with a lantern and a warm blanket.

Come on people! We need to get back to actually talking to one another!

When I see birds they are all lined up on a wire TOGETHER! Sometimes a huge group in a tree just a chirping away together. Why are we not doing the same? We need each other's company and companionship. It's not natural to see one little bird alone, on a wire with sunglasses on pretending to be with other birds.

That's why I say it's stupid.

I think that is very very sad and just another step in removing our humanity.

Yes indeed. I'm getting so tired of technological "solutions" for everything. Mostly it's businesses trying to make a buck but very often it changes humanity for the worse. It also distracts us from addressing real problems, saying "there will be a pill/app for that soon."

If that is where the future "is heading"....I can't say I'm sad or happy about it.

I never was big in the relationships department, so I'm pretty indifferent to it.

The fact that social engineering on a grand scale such as this (and with the familiar hook of using new technology as a catalyst) continues to occur, with people automatically accepting it as inevitable, rubber-stamping it, and refusing to just say "No" to it, never ceases to amaze me...
