I think im in a situationship

Im not dating him but yesterday we were caught redhanded with my hand in his wallet in public by a mutual friend

There are Other Women who would find this Concerning and Other Men who would view it as Confirmation.

Learned something new today. Yea!

Sounds like "Mr./Ms. Right Now" to me, where one or both of you know there's not long term potential but it's better than nothing for the time being (especially if you'd previously been single for a long time) or until someone else with whom that potential exists comes along.

I really like how you put it in textbook form. No. I actually love it! so seems like all would agree when we can define a "situationship" as the following: lets pretend and do everything as if we are in a relationship but lets not be in an official one. as if we are walking emotionless robots Whew! sounds like a head and heartache waiting to happen! Yikes! I'm now more inspired to see which category of psychology "situationship" would fall under ...heading over to psychology forum now

This is a term Cosmo or Maxim coined I'll bet. They literally pay people to sit around and write retarded stuff all day. Must be good work if you can get it.
