Speaking physically only....do you prefer pretty face with a little extra weight or below average face but hot body?
Also do you prefer someone who is a little overweight or to thin?
My opinion is that these threads never go well, and I understand why. I have reason to doubt your motives, joeyk4. It's just that you're inviting people to implicitly insult the people who possess the quality they don't prefer, and then you're opening the door for some particularly insensitive people to explicitly insult some. I hope I'm wrong, but I kind of doubt it.
In my experience, physical attraction or maybe better yet, what I may find physically appealing in a potential mate is very dynamic and encompasses the aggregate of the person's traits and characteristics. This can include not only direct appearance, but how they present and carry that appearance. The inability to be able to conclusively put these things into boxes gets worse when we are talking mere degrees of separation around the bulk of the middle of the bell curve by using terms such as "a little" of this or that one way or the other off of average.
Then, ultimately, over the long haul, these nuisance differences are not going to be the overriding factor in my long term attraction anyway since my overall attraction will be influenced far more by who she is as a person, how she treats me and others, how compatible we find ourselves, etc, then whether I find her slightly more attractive than the next person in terms of weight, proportion, features, etc.
Oh, this is a perennial around here. In past threads it has come to near-blows but by the total numbers, face tends to win, with a decent sprinkling of "It's about the whole person, not just one thing".
Generally, I would go for a little extra weight since every well placed ounce adds to the bounce. As far as the face, if you are drawn to another person for a variety of reasons, the face should not become one's central concern.

Do a search "face body".
But then we get into discussions of "how overweight?" Then someone adds, " 10 or 15 pounds maybe but.......
And people who have one but not the other and who are insecure are drawn to these threads. Like the now banned height threads, there will be a mix of responses and someone who could look at the thread objectively wouldn't feel bad, but that kind of robotic objectivity is rare.
I guess I'm kind of a priss on this, but I think in my 1000 plus posts I've maybe once offered an opinion about a specific aspect of anyone's appearance, and that was to say I often like short hair on women. I offered that because it's true and because women with short hair were getting crapped on in that thread. Surprise surprise.
Anyhoo, looks are always subjective of course. But what attracts me first and most to a woman is her facial features. If she has a look that appeals to me, then I don't mind the body so much if she has extra weight and the like.
If a girl has a shapely and fit body, but if her face doesn't appeal to me, then I am not attracted to her.
Regardless of race, the kind of face I am attracted to tends towards 'cute' girls, full cheeks, nice smile, etc.
I say both. Get one with both. But in general you can lose weight.
