I have been messaging this girl back and forth for over a week now, and as there was some connection, we quickly switched to texting. We had made planning to meet up, when this morning I get a text from her saying "look at what my cat caught this morning", her text was followed by a picture showing her cat standing next to a dead bird in a mess of feathers... I love cats, I love animals and that thing really freaked me, grossed me out big time. What are some people thinking ?
For someone who is training to be a nurse, you seem awful squeamish. Methinks you are going to see much worse as a nurse.
I don't see what nursing has to do with this. In the medical field no one in their right mind finds personal enjoyment in looking at dead things. There are better ways to flirt with a potential romantic interest rather than sharing pictures of animal corpses.

I'm with you on this one. I'd be wondering what sort of person sends something like this to someone that they haven't even met yet.

I don't. Its why cats should be kept indoors. They're incredibly destructive to native wildlife.
But it is also hardly something to get all worked up about either.
