A little thick there. My kinfolk call me by my middle name, the rest of the world by my first name. Why? Just because. When I got told my first name just sounded more powerful, I went along with it.

Right? I evidently grew a "fan following" in a past lifetime as a graveyard shift restaurant manger. Lots of cuties visiting me in drive-thru. The gay dude that hit on me...not su much fun.

It is but not by becoming friends on social media.

To make sure they're not fat and using angles to fake being attractive. I do it. Every. Time.

Just like a hammer, there is nothing inherently wrong with FB, it's how you use it.
I do, it's set to private except for family and close friends.
The guy I've been seeing for months hasn't asked or been invited and vice versa for his.

It's fine if neither of you care about being Facebook friends. But if you've been seeing someone for months and it's more than a casual fling, I'd be offended and suspicious if the person refused to add me as a friend.

As I said before, it depends on what you use it for. My daughter and I and others, use the chat function a lot. Access to my page would also allow private conversations I have with anybody.
Not much different than not offering up each others phones.
And when I say there's nothing on there that would interest him, it's not only true, but I would expect t be believed.
