Since others are chronicling their adventures in dating, I figure, hey why not get in on the act? This will be safe for work due to lack of sex.
- A girl who asked me out last year who I never made a date with throws shade my way anytime I make romantic statuses. I don't mind it much.
- The girl who lives three states away who I was going to break my dealbreaker of no single moms for but decided against since she wants to have enough kids to refill the 3-1 Army brigade and I have actually become really chill friends. I'm thinking about pursuing her best friend she she looks good to me.
- Went out on a date a couple of weeks ago with a girl from POF. I paid for the drinks, the date lasted an hour. That's it. I wasn't interested and haven't said a syllable to her since.
- I have a woman in Louisville who there is mutual interest, but we seem stuck in a hanging pattern. I have played with a move back to Louisville for other reasons. She is the most attractive woman I've had more than an interest in.
- I almost went into a rebound situation with a friend in another state, thankfully she went back to her bf and I avoided making an anus out of myself.
- I have swiped right on 500 girls on tinder and have gotten 5 matches. 3 catfish and 1 legit who hasn't responded to me in a bit.
Not too much action but an improvement from 2014 and 2015.

I'm not sure what your first point means. As to the second, you may not be chill friends any longer if you pursue her BFF. Proceed with caution.
I'd recommend not pursuing her best friend, unless the best friend hits on you. It's a terrible position to put yourself in honestly. Dating is just not always easy and everyone has their own agenda for who, or what, they're looking for. I'm mostly at the having fun stage of dating right now. If it's not fun, I just don't want anything to do with it. I was talking to a woman this weekend and everything was going well, till she told me her stepdad was prejudice and didn't know if we could meet. That conversation ended up sinking like the titantic, because racial discrimination is a hot button for me. The one thing I asked her, was why as a grown woman do you care so much about what your family thinks of who you date? She stated that it's not worth dealing with the tension, even if the guy treated me right. Well, I just can't compete with the white man your family approves of, so we wished each other luck and stopped communicating. It's 2016, and people still let their parents dictate who they can and cannot date!
Not bad Dissenter. Far better than what mine's been. I'll spare the details as I don't want to put people to sleep and I enjoy living in the denial phase in the 5 stages of grief.
