So I'm in a bit of a conundrum here and I need desperate help. I am a male who has been in intimate relationship with a female for about 14 months or so now.
There have been signs and even evidence that she has a violent nature and I guess to some degree I knew this going in (to relationship).
The sort of violence I'm concerned about isn't physical (although to some degree that is of concern), the violence I'm concerned about is that she might destroy or vandalize my property upon knowing I'm sick of her **** and it's officially over.
Particularly my vehicles - I don't know what the h-ll she's going to do to one or more of them as they stay parked outside 24-7.
I think a restraining order would only serve to anger her more as I'm not necessarily worried about physical violence.
I would park my car in a well lit area with a camera facing directly at it.
I've definitely looked at camera options at this point in the game. They're a bit pricey (I suppose for decent ones at least) and I've not a lot of spare change at my disposal right now but I suppose that is the best option.
Restraining orders are seldom, if ever, given just because somebody thinks someone might do something . There has to be some history. Do you/she have any?
A camera is the best option especially since one is most likely priced lower than your deductible.
You could get her to leave you. Any number of things might work, you know her better so think of something. Here are a few that would work for me:
Hey babe, I'm trying to get into swinging but they won't let me come unless I bring a female. Do you, or any one of your hotter friends, think you could +1 for me?
I feel like I didn't really get to explore my sexual orientation in my college years, say hello to Steve. He's going to be staying with us for the next few months.
I'm taking a sabbatical from work. I need to re-connect with my inner child. You'll have to find another job to take care of the bills and rent, as I plan to play with my consoles for most of my waking hours. I'm not sure how long this will take, it could be years.
