You find it easier to talk to someone who has completely different political beliefs, religious beliefs, values, hobbies and interests than you? I don't see what would be "boring" about it. The world has enough challenges and adversity, doesn't seem wise to add more for no particular reason.

Despite me not mentioning any of that and you listing a whole lot of differences and not the few that most have .....However yes I'd try because that's where adaptability and the respect for one another comes in.

With the boring remark it's more of a joke as for me it would be awfully dull if we agreed on EVERYTHING as again I feel outside interests and opinions do make for a healthy relationship

With you saying " women want men to disagree with them " ( you've worded it funny but I know what you meant ) ... Yes it's important to feel challenged in some respects as that's how you meet your equal/match so agreed but you don't have to feel challenged on every single thing
